Dear R. I. Officers, Presidents, Presidents Elect, District Officers & Rotarians,
I am very happy to inform you that Rotary International President Elect Rtn. John Kenny will be visiting Pune on 9th & 10th April 2009. This is the first time in last 25-30 years that such a distinguished person from Rotary International is visiting our District. He will be accompanied by our beloved RI Director Ashok Mahajan and his Ann Nayantara. This visit represents an enormous opportunity for all of us to meet and listen to our World leaders and rejuvenate ourselves and reaffirm our commitment to "Making Dreams Real"
President Elect John Kenny will be addressing an Intercity Meeting for all Rotary Clubs of our District on Thursday, April 9th at 6.00pm at SIMS Auditorium, Range Hills, Khadki.
The Details of Intercity Meeting are-
Date : April 9,Thursday,2009
Time : 6.00 – 8.00 PM
Venue :S.I.M.S. Auditorium, Range Hills, Khadki, Pune.
Dinner: Contributory Dinner between 8:00 to 10:00 PM. ( Rs. 250/- Per Head.)
I hereby request all Clubs who have their meetings on Thursday April 9 and Friday April 10 to cancel and join this meeting. I also request all other Clubs to appeal all their members to attend this meeting in large numbers and take the opportunity to listen to our Incoming World Leader.
