| Minutes of Meeting | Pre-fellowship started at 6 PM on Zoom where many members joined and interacted with each other on various topics. Post pre-Fellowship, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay and all members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. President Amitabha updated all members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project status. 187950 vaccines have been administered as on 11th Sep. Power management company Eaton’s collaboration with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Vaccine On Wheels, and Rotary Club of Pune Central was inaugurated this week. It is a six-month COVID vaccination program to benefit under-served community members, including the trucking community, daily wage and migrant workers and people with disabilities. The event was attended by Shailendra Shukla, managing director, Vehicle Group, Eaton. Rtn. PP Ravi Kapoor and Rtn. Oni Kakajiwala were present for the event. All the members congratulated Rtn. PP Rakesh Bhargava for being awarded the distinguished Alumnus Award (DAA) by IIT Kanpur for the year 2021. President Amitabha informed the members about the District 3131 Awards program, named 'Bhairavi' to be held on 25th Sep . He requested maximum members to attend the Event. We wished happy birthday to Rtn Rakesh Kalra, Rtn Rajeev Sharma, R'Ann Harinder Chopra. This week’s guest speaker, Sandeep Kumar Mohanty (Director, PwC) spoke on the important topic of Environment Social Governance - Planet, People, Profit. Companies and organizations are now focusing more and more on sustainability. Now apart from the financial capabilities, non-financial factors are also looked at by investors. With increasing regulations, also being put in place, companies are designing its products and services in a manner that enables contribution towards sustainable development.
