| Minutes of Meeting | Mandar Kamlapurkar explained this very important field, sound design, in very simple and mesmerizing manner to the listeners. He demonstratedthe power of sound in a film by showing a very popular scene from Sholay without any sound at all. Then he showed the same scene with the sound and one could understand the effect that sound can have. He also explained that at times when film shooting takes place there may be sounds which are required that may not get recorded and such sounds are introduced into the scene manually. And getting the right effect is the art of sound designing. It was a very interesting, mesmerizing and effective session by Mandar. |

| Minutes of Meeting | An entertainment programme for some fun & games was conducted on Thursday, 30th September, 2021 from 7.30 to 8.30 p.m. by the Fellowship Committee. The entertainment committee did an excellent job to entertain the Rotarians. The entire programme was divided into 5 – 6 quizzes. Quiz 1: Name 5 types of…..e.g.- Indian bread, Make up brands, Places that start with the letter R…..etc Quiz 2: Collect items mentioned, take a picture & post it on Parivar Downtown Quiz 3: Guessing the right word for the 3 words given which have something in common Quiz 3: How well do you know your city Quiz 4: Identify the jingles Quiz 5: It’s Bollywood for You: In this the participants had to guess the movie from the picture. Very happy to share that we had a fantastic attendance on this day. The entire entertainment Programme was conceptualized by Poroochi Batliwala & her team. Kripa Contractor prepared a fantastic ppt to support the programme. It was a great fun hour for the members who had joined and participated actively in the Quiz. Rtn Shashank Jauhri was declared the overall winner of the evening!! |
