| Minutes of Meeting | 1. Meeting called to order by President and followed by National Anthem. 2. The President briefed about the successful implementation of the ‘Defeat Diabetes’ Campaign and thanked all those members who participated in the success of this event. She also joyfully announced that this Campaign crossed the target 10 Million Diabetes Detection Tests on a single Day and was verified as well as accepted as a new Record by the Asia Book of World Records. All participating Clubs shall get the Certificate on 8th October, 2021. 3. President also briefed about the ‘Satyanarayana’ Pooja held on 2nd October, 2021, 34th Foundation Day of the Blood Bank, in the Rotary Mega Medical Centre Building. 4. President informed that the Rotary News dues have been paid and the same has been acknowledged by the Chennai office. The Members will now receive the Soft/Hard copy of the Rotary Bulleting as per the choice they registered. 5. The District Event of Kojagiri Celebration jointly with RC Panvel was discussed. President presented the excerpts of discussion held in the Zoom meeting with RC Panvel on this subject. She explained that the District has sanctioned Rs. 20,000 for this event out of which Rs. 6,000 would go to Artists and another Rs. 12,000 would go for the Sound System/Orchestra. Rs. 2,000 will be required for minor related works for Dias etc... Hence this will exhaust the District Fund fully. 6. Dinner expenses will be shared by the Two clubs equally. 7. There was a discussion on the proposed Orchestra/Sound System and everyone present opined that the cost is too high. It was also pointed out that loud music will cause nuisance to the neighboring Societies who might lodge police complaint as the Covid restrictions are still in place. 8. During this discussion, DGE Dr Anil Parmar placed a call and discussed the issue with District Member when it was agreed that the Orchestra/Sound System will be dropped and Karaoke Tracks only shall be played for the Artists to perform. 9. President announced that there will be Blood Donation Camp at Adai Village on 10th October, 2021. 10. DGE suggested that two members from the Organizers Team of the Blood Donation Camps should be felicitated during the Club’s Family Meeting and a Certificate be given. 11. DGE presented the Dress Materials & ‘T’ Shirt Samples for the conference. The Blazer Material was unanimously selected. However, the ‘T’ Shirt, with a Polyester-Cotton mixed fabric, was quite uncomfortable. Hence it was decided to try with 100% Cotton ‘T’ Shirts from Bengaluru. DGE agreed to display those samples in the next meeting. 12. Issues about the Closure of Global Grant were discussed and it was decided to refer the matter to DG Pankaj Shah for intervention. 13. DGE urged upon all present members to mark their attendance on District 3131 App. |

It is decided that it will be decided in joint meeting with trustee 3) Retractors Project: Youth Director Rtn Dr Jay Bhandarkar Proposed two projects on behalf of Rotaract club 1) Postal day celebration on 9th oct 2021 which is approved by BOD 2: Distributing of Solar lamp to nearby villagers where electricity is yet to reach: It is decided that Rotaract club will submit detailed report to BOD and decision will be taken based on report 4) Updating of new members: All the new members proposed by respective Rotarians will be inducted once pay the dues. 5) Incoming New Projects: celebration of international day of the girl child, international student day. 6) PP V.C.Mhatre proposed Ghar wapsi of two members.1)Prakash patil 2) Jaising wagh. 7) Last year Environmental project is discussed and IPP Harmesh Tanna will arrange visit to site. 8) Global Grant cataract project: It is discussed in BOD.It is decided that the project will implement as per the procedure. 9) Meeting ended with vote of thanks by Rtn panale and dinner hosted by Rtn Salim and Rtn Golwala |
