Weekly Meeting(Business) Rotary club of Panvel Industrial Town Meeting No 4thheld on 13/10/21 Wednesday at Rotary community center Meeting called to order by President Gurdev singh Kohli After National Anthem meeting started Secretary vinod Gurme read the minutes of 4th BOD meeting. Rtn Balad suggested that Flex banner must be displayed in cooperative societies for information of collection point of E-waste and plastic, collection point will be societies, schools etc. President will issue request letter to societies ,schools etc. Rtn sanjay Jain proposed Memography Project for cansar detection. President agreed to execute such type of project beneficial to society.Rtn sanjay Jain will collect more information give to BOD PP Rtn Dr Sasane proposed to erect statue of Pol Harish at suitable location in club building, the said is also agreed by all. Rtn balad objected Ghar wapsi of two members prakask patil and jaising wag.saying that these members were left without information in 19-20. PP and AG V.C.Mhatre bring it to the notice that New members might have not aware about the procedure, In fact to retain the members we might have tried to guide, perused, convinced ,talk to them if after this member fail to pay the dues then issue notice and thereafter take action as per the BY LAWS. However, nothing has been done from our side hence to increase the strength and image of rotary these members gharwapsi may accept.These two members were not continued from 1st day of jully 19 and not attended the club. Secretary Vinod Gurme pointed out that if one or two member take objection on induction of new members,Ghar wapsi, reinstate then how we will increase the strength of rotary. The objection must be as per by laws and based on some facts. President Gurudev singh kohli pointed out that everyone” bring each one” As per policy and by laws ghar wapsi accepted by all Meeting is adjourned by president Total count 20 |

| Minutes of Meeting | 1. Meeting called to order by President and followed by National Anthem. 2. The President announced celebration of Navratri as well as Kojagiri Festivals together on the next meeting day, that is 20th October. The meeting shall thus be a Family Meeting in which cultural programme like a Dance by RCNP Members will be performed, followed by Dandiya/Garaba by all present members. 3. It was discussed & agreed that suitable prizes for Best Dancer as well as Best Dandiya Dressed Player Member/Ann/Annet will be given. One award for Best Dressed Couple shall also be given. It was also decided that Rtn Pallavi Dhargalkar will be the Chairman for this event and also Judge along with Rtn Pradeep Davkar. 4. President expressed deep concern about very low attendance in the meeting as only Four members were present apart from President & Secretary. Everyone expressed serious concern over wastage of Money and more importantly Food as the Caterer brings food for minimum 20 Diners. To save such wastages, it was decided that some meetings will be arranged without full dinner and a single dish dinner will be ordered from the adjoining Kiba Dining as per actual count of the present members. 5. It was also decided that a Karaoke Singing competition will be held during the next Family Meeting. 6. President briefed about the recent Blood Donation Camps. There were two Camps on Sunday, 10th October at Adai and Vichumbe where 41 and 25 Bottles of Blood were collected respectively. She complimented the Blood Bank Staff for the commendable service and requested that few RCNP members should necessarily visit such camps to boost the Morale of the Staff as well as the Donors. 7. She also informed about the Diabetes Prevention Fortnight program by RC Tilak Nagar, Pune commencing from 14th November, the World Diabetes Day. It was decided to implement the program on 14th during the MODEM Conference conducted by Rtn Dr Kirti Samudra and on another suitable day at the Mega Medical centre. 8. The On-stage performance by RCNP Members during Utsav Conference for the Launch of JOSH conference of 2023 was discussed. Rtn Rajeevan emphesised that all RCNP members must be made aware of this performance for them to take initiative to participate. He also insisted that Experts’ services should be taken for a better performance. 9. President briefed about the Electric Auto Project wherein the Club has to arrange Sponsorship of Rs. 50,000 for someone who lost his Auto-earning. This amount will be deposited in a Bank who will in turn provide loan to the beneficiary to own one Electric Auto Rikshaw. Rtn Pradeep Davkar will be the Chairman for this project and will check the RTO formalities required for such project. Rtn Rajeevan, Chairman-Environment, will explore the Auto Unions to identify a genuine Beneficiary. 10. President congratulated Annet Varun Parmar for his grand success in the PG-NEET Examination. 11. President also declared to take up a Water Conservation Project. It was decided to provide 500 Water Saver Devices like the Mist Spray Nozzle in the Kalsekar Polytechnic & College (200 Nos.) and in 2-3 Residential Societies (300 Nos.). Rtn Vishram Ekambe was appointed as Chairman for this project to work along with Director Rtn Rajeevan. |
