| Minutes of Meeting | DG Visit to RCPC on 12th Feb District Governor Rtn. Pankaj Shah visited RCPC on 12th Feb. The meeting was held in a hybrid mode with few members attending at the Poona Club venue and many others joining online. The meeting was followed by fellowship dinner. The DG visit began with an interaction with the President Elect RY 22-23 and the Strategic planning committee. This was followed by a meeting with the Board of Directors. Meeting with all members began with offering condolences to our former member Rtn. Sujata Nanda who passed away on 5th February by observing a minute silence. The official visit with the Club members began with President Amitabha Mukhopadhyay welcoming DG Pankaj Shah and first lady Rtn Priya Shah. AG Rupinder Beri too was welcomed to the Club meeting. President updated about the receipt of next instalment donation of Rs 9,29,250 by BMC Software towards the Vaccination on Wheels Project. The Project has now administered 13,94,694 vaccine doses with 25,811 plus vaccines being administered daily by 175+ vehicles mobile units operating across the country. President Amitabha presented the Club's report and updated the visiting dignitaries and all members about the Clubs activities and achievements in the year so far. AG Rupinder Beri in her speech, gave her impressions of the Club and appreciated the Club for its up to date compliances and reports. She also mentioned the Clubs efforts in assimilation and training. She suggested that the Club should increase membership by forming satellite clubs and focus on reducing the average age of members. DG Pankaj Shah in his address, appreciated the District for its TRF contribution which he said is higher than 400 districts in the world. He lauded the Vaccination on Wheels Project which is the flagship project for the Club and hoped it will grow further and reach more and more beneficiaries. He congratulated Rtn. Arun Jindal who announced his contribution of 2 crore rupees. He also congratulated PP Ajay Dubey, PP Ravi Kapoor, PP Rakesh Bhargava for confirming their contribution towards endowment. He wished the very best to all members and all future club activities. To commemorate the DG visit to the Club, PP Rakesh Bhargava presented a Cheque of 1,000 $ to DG Pankaj Shah with a date of 23rd Feb which is the birthday of Rotary. Rtn. Vimal Saboo gave the vote of thanks and the meeting was adjourned. All members enjoyed a sumptuous fellowship dinner with DG Pankaj Shah and the first lady. |
