| Minutes of Meeting | Pre-fellowship started at 6 PM on Zoom where the members joined and interacted with each other on various topics. Post pre-Fellowship, the meeting was called to order by Pres. Amitabha Mukhopadhyay and all members and guests were welcomed to the meeting. In salute to spirit of giving, we have new CSR partners with us now. For the Vaccination of Wheels Project - 1. Mahindra and Mahindra Finance Services Pvt Ltd. Total Project Cost is Rs. 70 Lakhs We have received the first Instalment of Rs. 49 Lakhs. 2. Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Pvt. Ltd. Total Project Cost – Rs. 27.78 Lakhs The MoUhas been signed. IGW India Technologies Pvt. Ltd Total Project Cost will be donating Rs. 14.07 Lakhs for an Ambulance to Amrut Hospital and Research Center in Alandi Devachi President Amitabha updated members about the Vaccination on Wheels Project status. 1668097 vaccines have been administered as on 24th Feb. We have received the second instalment of 50 lakhs for the GG2123447 - Gift of Vision – Cataract Surgery project. The project value is USD 129,352. This project is supported by the generous donation by Rtn. Nitin Desai and other RCPC members.From July 2021 through October 2021, Cataract Surgeries performed and vision restored for 1,508 beneficiaries. An Eye Check Up Camp was organized by Rtn Oni and R'Ann Nafisa Kakajiwala at Village Panwadi, 10km from Saswad, on 24th March 2022. A total of 174 Check Up done of which 109 were adults and 65 students. President informed members about the felicitation event ' Baghban' by District 3131. In this event Rotarians from all Clubs who have completed 25 years of service in Rotary will be felicitated by DG Pankaj Shah. President invited all our Club members who completed 25 years to attend the event. We wished happy anniversary to Rtn Sunil and R’Ann Anagha Shah, Rtn PP Rakesh and R’Ann Suchi Bhargava, Rtn PP Ramesh and R’Ann Uma More, Rtn Dr. Shona and Mr. Milon Nag. This Week Guest speaker Rohit Srivastava spoke on the topic - ' My Data, My Privacy, My Choice' . In this session Mr Rohit discussed about how the smart devices and technology that we are using now in our daily life are gathering our personal data. He enlightened the members on what are the steps that one can take for keeping data secure and thereby keep our life private. |
