| Minutes of Meeting | On July 2nd, 2023, the inauguration ceremony of District Governor Ro Manju Phadke for Rotary District 31 31 was successfully concluded at DY Patil Medical College. The event was graced by the presence of Raju Subramaniam, the Rotary International Director of Rotary Zone 3 and 4, who served as the Chief Guest. The ceremony brought together approximately 700 Rotary members, including past district governors, assistant governors, office-bearers, directors of various Rotary projects, club presidents, and their respective teams from Rotary District 31. The distinguished gathering witnessed the introduction of Ro Manju Phadke by former District Governor Dr. Shailesh Palekar. During the event, the charge of leadership and responsibility was officially handed over from former District Governor Dr. Anil Parmar to District Governor-elect Ro Manju Phadke, who will serve for the term 2023-2024. Furthermore, the ceremony provided an opportunity to honor Bhagyashree Patil, the Chairman of DY Patil University Society and DY Patil Unitech Society, with a professional merit award in recognition of their notable contributions. A special highlight of the event was the felicitation of the donors of the Rotary Foundation and CSR companies who generously supported various social activities. Their financial support was acknowledged and appreciated for its significant impact in driving positive change. Ro. Raju Subrahmanyam, in his speech, reflected upon the remarkable social work accomplished by Rotary, emphasizing its immense impact on communities. District Governor Manju Phadke took the opportunity to share plans for the upcoming year, focusing primarily on initiatives in health, education, environment, and water. These plans showcase the dedication and commitment of Rotary District 31 31 to make meaningful contributions in these vital areas. District Governor Manju Phadke Rotary Club of Pune Deccan Gymkhana Past President Dr. Amit Andre handed over the charge to the new President Dr. Umesh Falak and his Board of Directors. Dr. Amit Andre, who served as the Past President, symbolically handed over the responsibilities and leadership of the club to Dr. Umesh Falak. This transition marked an important moment for the Rotary Club of Pune Deccan Gymkhana as they welcomed their new President and his dedicated team to guide and steer the club's activities and initiatives for the upcoming term. The program was attended by all former district governors, further fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within the Rotary community. To ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the attendees, refreshments before the program and a well-arranged post-event meal were provided, allowing participants to engage in networking and social interactions. | Minutes of Meeting | On 2nd July 2023, 22 Rotarians from the Club met at Gramprabhodini School Salumbre @ 11:30 AM Rotarians were greeted by the school Teachers and village Sarpanch and Upa Sarpach along with a few villagers, and then they were taken to the School Assembly Hall A presentation and a video clip on various Educational and Social Projects of the village and vocational programs by the Gram Prabhodini school was shown to the members. A detailed explanation was given by the renowned school teacher and well-known personality Bhadane Sir about all the ongoing projects in the village. Later all the members visited the art gallery of the school wherein all the art works were displayed; performed by the school children. A meeting was followed, where in Bhadane Sir explained how back in the day’s village was transformed in to the Nirmal Gram Award winning village with the help of Rotary Club of Poona North and other alliances. Snacks & tea was provided to all the members sponsored by the school. Rotarian Ravee explained the purpose of the visit and seek assistance from the village authorities in selecting a new village for our next project ‘Punascha Salumbre’ Next Action plan was decided. Identifying the village, committee formation, planning, scope identification At around 2:00 PM Rotarians departed for the lunch venue. Lunch was arranged and sponsored at Lodha Belmondo club house by Rotarian Kumar Shingare. Post lunch, members made a short visit to the home of Rotarian Kumar @Lodha Belmondo. At around 3:30 PM meeting was concluded and all members left in their respective vehicles. |

| Minutes of Meeting | On July 2, 2023, the Rotary Club of Panvel Mahanagar successfully held their installation program with 87 attendees, including Rotarians, visiting Rotarians, Ann, and Interact club members. The event was graced by Rtn. Shital Shah as the chief guest, and the installation of Interact club members took place alongside the ceremony. Vocational award were given and a weighing scale specially designed for kids has been donated to the Municipal Hospital in Panvel. This will be beneficial for the pediatric ward as it will make the process of weighing children much easier and more accurate. Interact Club member also exchanged collars. |
