| Minutes of Meeting | The installation of the incoming President, Secretary and BOD members of Rotary club of Nigdi Pune on 11th July'24 at the Bluewater Hotel Ravet was an event to remember and will be etched in the memory of our club for a long time. DG Manjoo Phadke, Chief Guest for the event who oversaw the exchange of bouquets, banner as a part of the installation of the incoming President and Secretary. Outgoing President Rtn Pranita gave an emotional speech taking us all through her journey as president of this vibrant club. Outgoing Secretary Rtn Keshav presented his secretarial speech and crisply summarized the achievements of the club in the year gone by. President Rtn Harbinder 's speech was the icing on the cake. One could feel the energy and commitment in our new president to take the club to higher heights. The incoming 22 BOD members were inducted too. The club recognized the Charter members, IPP and all other guests who were present to grace this event. For the first time the club released the Rotary film. The new Rowind and Club diary for 2023-24 was released by the Chief Guest. This was followed by the felicitation of prospective new members. The generosity and commitment of our club members to Rotary foundation was in full display when our club donated USD 20000 on DAY1 to the Foundation. DG Manjoo addressed the august gathering and shared her vision for the Dist 3131 in the upcoming year. Water conservation, Green Friday, 1000 children heart surgeries for congenital diseases etc. Be a proud Rotarian and spread the rotary message to one and all was her message. The installation ended with Pasayadan followed by a vote of thanks and lip smacking dinner thereafter. The entire installation ceremony was attended by 200+ attendees - 88 Rotarians + 24 Anns + 35 visiting Rotarians & 50 + guests. |
