Secretary Rtn Ankush Parakh delivered Secretarial Announcements. There was coverage on Birthdays, Anniversaries and District events that happened so far and ones lined up for the month along with brief about Service Projects दन्त Maya (1-July), Abhalmaya (on going one in RY 20222-23) and new project which started on 14-Jul where Desktop computers and chairs for computer lab in on the schools, were the ones covered. President Rtn Nikhil Bhalerao then did set the theme of Gurupornima by talking about Everyone remembered their Gurus they did get blessings and learnings in life. Basic concept behind Gurupornima and how did this start. Went over Rotary Themes since Year 2015 as that’s the inception year of the club to thank all Past Presidents who guided the members and worked hard to get the club at this height. This was one way to show respect and gratitude as they are Gurus for all members. RYE avenue which is a Guru for all the students giving them opportunity to learn new experiences And finally by sharing a story of Disciple Swami Vivekanand and his Guru Ramkrishna Paramhansa. The story depicted the dedication, respect and love of the disciple towards Guru. All such qualities of a disciple make her/him a Sarvashreshth Shishya Guest RYE District Director Rtn Deepak Bodhani enlightened the club by his experience and merits of the RYE program. Guests RYE District Director Rtn Deepak Bodhani and AG Rtn Anant Tikone were felicitated by Rtn Ashish Agarwal and Rtn Ghannshyamm Vaswani respectively. RY Outbound students Master Satyam Doiphode and Miss Ria Gurjar shared their experiences for the year. The way of presentation and oratory skills were marvelous. Master Satyam Doiphode and Miss Ria Gurjar did flag exchange for the countries France and Japan respectively. Rtn Niraj Kothari and Rtn Mahendra Bodhe felicitated Master Satyam Doiphode and Miss Ria Gurjar respectively. Mothers of students also thanked the RYE program for all the support provided. The last item of the meeting was a quick fun game designed and organised by First Lady Arpita Bhalerao. It was a team bonding game where people in different groups had to put the names of train stations in chronological order for a given train route. The game was enjoyed by each and every member and required people to dig their travel memories to be part of it. The meeting did end at sharp 10:00 PM, adhering to Rotary Protocol for meetings. | Minutes of Meeting | कल्पक, पुणे निर्मित आणि महेश पाटणकर दिग्दर्शित "शोध कवितेचा" कार्यक्रम फारच छान झाला. कार्यक्रमातील कलाकारांनी खूपच सहज सुंदर अभिनय करून, गोष्टीत गुंफून कविता सादर केल्या. कलाकारांची सहजता, पाठांतर तर वाखणण्याजोगे होते. सर्वात महत्वाचे म्हणजे कवितांची निवड ही छान होती. कवी गणेश हरी पाटील यांची "देवा तुझे किती सुंदर आकाश" ही कविता खूप वर्षांनी पूर्ण ऐकल्यामुळे मन ३०-४० वर्षे पाठीमागे गेले. त्याची चाल छान आहेच पण ती सादर ही चांगली केली गेली. त्यानंतर बोरकरांच्या "औदुंबर" मधील एक कविता "ऐल तटावर पैल तटावर हिरवाळी घेवून" ही कविता ऐकून प्रत्येकाला आपल्या खेड्यातल्या गावी गेल्यासारखं वाटलं.... दामोदर अच्युत काळे यांची "वाटते सोनुली" कविता पण चांगली झाली. कवी पाठक यांच्या "खबरदार जर टाच मारुनी जात पुढे चिंधड्या" ही कविता दृक श्राव्य माध्यमात खूप प्रभावी वाटली. त्यातील गोष्टीत दाखवल्याप्रमाणे शेवटी त्या मुलाला शिवाजी महाराज जेव्हा खुश होवून आपले खरे रूप दाखवतात तेव्हा अंगावर रोमांच उभे राहतात. प्र. के. अत्रेंच्या "आजीच्या जवळी घड्याळ कसले आहे चमत्कारिक" ह्या कवितेने तर खूप धमाल आणली. केवढी जुनी ती कविता आणि तिचा आशय...आजच्या पिढीला हेवा वाटेल अशा वातावरणात प्रेक्षक आपसूकच गेले. "पोस्टमन" कवितेचे वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे ती कविता ४ वृत्तात आहे हे आज खूप वर्षांनी परत एकदा आठवले. ग. ल. ठोकळ यांची "भिकारीण" ही कविता, तिचा आशय आणि सादर करणाऱ्या कलाकाराने केलेल्या अभिनयाने बहुतेकांच्या डोळ्यांच्या कडा ओल्या झाल्या आणि मन हेलावून गेले. बालकवींची सुप्रसिद्ध कविता "श्रावणमासी हर्ष मानसी" सुरू झाल्यावर प्रेक्षक आपसूकच ती कविता म्हणू लागले आणि तीच कविता कलाकारांनी "वृंदावनी सारंग" रागात वेगळ्या चालीत अतिशय छान पेश केली. कवी निकुंभ यांची "घाल घाल पिंगा वाऱ्या" ह्या कवितेने तर सर्व Anns मनाने आपापल्या माहेरी पोचल्या, व्याकूळ झाल्या, त्यांच्या मनाची चलबिचल अंधारात सुध्धा जाणवत होती. कवी केशव कुमार यांची "खाली आणि वर"या कवितेने समाजातल्या दोन स्तरांची गडद जाणीव करून दिली. कवी लिमये यांच्या "शाळेचा रस्ता" या संग्रहातील "शाळेस रोज जाताना, विघ्ने येती नाना" याची चाल नादमधुर होती. तिला "मेरे दिलकी घडी करे टिक टिक टिक" या चालीवर छान म्हणून दाखविले. शाळेला उशीर होण्याची रोजची नवी कारणे प्रत्येकाला आठवत होती... रस्तातला फुगेवाला, झाडे व वेली यांच्याशी खेळत, रमत गमत शाळेला जाणे हे प्रत्येकाने अगदी मनोमन अनुभवले काल.... कवी पटवर्धन यांच्या "अमुचे घर" या कवितेत दारातील रांगोळी, दाण्याचा लाडू, भातुकली, कट्टी व बट्टी यांची चित्रे खूपच बोलकी होती. त्यानंतर...खरी धमाल आणली "भानुदास" या कवीच्या "पडू आजारी" कवितेने..त्याचा सस्पेन्स दिग्दर्शकाने शेवटपर्यंत छान टिकवून ठेवला. रवी आणि स्वाती रांजेकर यांच्या गुण ग्राहकतेला दाद द्यावी तेवढी थोडीच आहे. खूप सुंदर कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन केले काल ह्या दोघांनी...खूप खूप धन्यवाद ?? |

Discussions 1.President Ajay Chitnis welcomed the board members to the first meeting of the year. 2.Leave of absence for the BOD meeting was approved for Rtn Arun Shroff,Rtn Brig Raja and Rtn Delshad Karanjia. 3.The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed. 3.The meeting started with the agenda for all board members to present their plans for August fund raising and their way ahead. 5. With the permission of the Board, PP Madhu Rathi was asked to speak about the GST issue. He proposed a solution, which was discussed and a consensus was reached to form a core group to take the decision. 6. Club Subscription from 46 members received already. The Club and Trust Budget would be presented on the 19th of August. 7. Fund raising meeting postponed to first week of September. 8.The carry forward amount from PP Uday Dharamadhikari is 23 lakh which will be kept handy was future projects. Consensus was reached. 9. Presentation by Rtn Ravi Kapoor-He informed the board that there are no open GG projects. Planning a big global grant for heart project at Kharghar. Closure report to be submitted at next bod. 10. Presentation by Rtn Saroj bande-Planning for HPV vaccine on concession and mensuration health. The camps by Oni kakaji will be ongoing. 11. Presentation by Rtn Giri Sakhrani-School project near Khedshivapur. Repair of dam at Satara District. A visit to 14 trees was planned for 20 th august. 12. Presentation by Rtn Nandita Khaire-2 interact cubs have been Installed and is further looking at opportunities at Zilla parishad schools. 13. Presentation by Rtn Nitin Rajore-Vocational directory to be published. To broadcast theme of rotary at metro and release press articles. 14. Presentation by Rtn Ramesh Dumbre-5 new proposals have been in the pipeline for approval by the board. 15. Presentation by Rtn Sanjiv-To conduct foundation campaigns and friendship exchange programs and international youth exchange. 16. Presentation by Rtn Madhvi Kshettry-to register all members at rotary 3131 app and regular updates at social platforms and send a poll before each meeting. 17. Approval accorded to appoint Rtn PP Rakesh Bhargava as Managing Trustee of RCPC Charity Trust in lieu of Rtn Ashish Goyal, who has to resign consequent upon joining the Board of Directors. 18. Approval accorded to conduct a Chess Tournament for various age groups and open categories. The same will be funded by the amount held in the Trust on behalf of Rtn Nitin Rajore. The Meeting was called to order at 6.00 PM sharp. President NPS Bakshi welcomed the Board Members. Agenda Pt. 2. Minutes of the Joint (June ) BoD meeting were read and confirmed. Immediate Past President Rtn Maithili informed the BOD, that Rtn Milan Darda had paid Club subscription and RI Dues remain unpaid and he tendered his resignation. She further informed that Rtn Shehnaz had not yet paid second half club dues.It was agreed that out going treasure & sponsors should follow up for the same. Agenda points. 3-5 were discussed with following actions. A. Attendance records format to be changed. B. Attendance marking to be changed to QR code system in due course of time. Agenda Pt. 6. New proposed membership list was presented and forms to be sent to Membership committee . Agenda Pt 7. As monthly accounts were June not ready, decided to put in next BOD meeting. Agenda Pt. 8 . List of Chairpersons of various Avenues were submitted. Agenda Pt 9. Plans and project under various project were presented and passed. Agenda Pt 10 Proposed Budget for the RY 2023-24 was presented and approved. Agenda Pt 11. It was anonymously resolved that all bank accounts of Rotary Club of Poona Club and Rotary Club of Poona charity trust be operated by President, Hon Secretary and Hon Treasurer and signatories be changed-with WEF 1st July 2023. Agenda 12. Resignation of outgoing trustees was accepted. PP Pradeep Rathi and PP Awdhut Walimbe were appointed as Trustees for the year 2023-24 for Rotary Club of Poona Charity Trust along with President- Rtn NPS Bakshi Hon Secretary- Rtn PARAMJIT Pabby Hon treasurer- Rtn Gen Amar Krishna President Elect- Rtn Rohit Mitra Trustee - Rtn PP Pradeep Rathi Trustee - Rtn PP Awdhut Walimbe Agenda Point 13. It was resolved to appoint Raiker Associates as auditor for 2023-24 along with CA Amit Gaikwad on mutual agreed terms. Agenda Point 14. It was resolved to create a Bylaw & Amendment Committee comprising of PP Bharat, PP Kailash Monga, PP Ashok Perti, PP Narpati Luthra, PP Awadhut Walimbe, PP Jaideep,and Rtn Shamsher Q. They will review and suggest suitable amendments to the club Bylaws & constitution. Agenda Point 15. In principle it was agreed upon to form AOP. AOP committee will review the terms and condition after seeking legal opinion and will submit detailed draft to BOD. - Membership committee comprising of 2 Past Presidents be formed, to support Chairman PP Narpati Luthra. Agenda Point 16. Hon. Membership to Army Cdr was conferred on 10/07/23 and he was invited for addressing members of RC Poona on 10th evening. A 4 Way Test plaque was presented to him and he reciprocated by presenting a “SWORD OF REGALIA” for yomen service done by RC POONA. - He hosted dinner for 7 couples amongst our members at Command House, POLO VISTA. Dinner was attended by senior Military Officers from Southern Command. - Army Cdr offered premises at Naturopathy centre ‘PRAKARTI’ for establishing Homeopathy Clinic for Serving/ Veterans/ Dependents. Detailed working is under progress. - It was further resolved to add 5 new Hon Members to enhance Image of Rotary. Agenda Point 17. 3 Holidays in the first half year reported. Agenda Point 18. Copy of GML still not received. Agenda Point 19. (A) Officiating Vice President Gen Amar gave overview on programs for the month of July. A Classical_ Bollywood musical program by R/Ann Gauri Shikarpur is being planned for the month of August as synergy meeting with Zone 4 clubs. (B) Dir. Community Service, shared first project of the year of District and RCPoona - Oral Cancer Detection camp at Police Commissioner’s Office, Pune . - followed by, completion of two Cornea transplant surgeries successfully done at KKEI, Koregaon Park. - Visit to Basu Memorial , Dr Basu Vidhyadham for planning with synergy partner RC NIgdi and CSR company. - Continuation of Solar Lamp project was brought to the table, proposed by Rtn Pabby and Seconded by PP Kailash Monga. - Request for Veteran Facility at DhobiGhat cremation grounds received from President PCB was principally agreed and involvement of synergy with like minded clubs be evaluated. - Request for Computer Lab from Guru Nanak Public School, Nana Peth recieved and same to be done with support of District 3131. Detailed proposal invited. - IPP Maithili ,proposed and supported terrace garden on Mahatma Phule Auditorium and committed her contribution of INR1000/ to start with. - Ongoing Asmita project to be continued on priority, with schools in cantonment area. (C) Director Vocation Services Rtn Adv ManoharJagdale shared his plans for the year 2023-24 with plans for approx. 9 Vocational visits, Vocational awards to the Unsung Heroes and Vocational training/ Career Guidance to school children. Focus areas of Cyber crimes training for children. (D) Rtn Leela Madhuri-Director Youth Service, shared her plan over What’s app. - She is planning Inter School Patriotic Songs Singing competition on 19th Aug and requested for a budget of 10k. - She has also planned for Indoor- Outdoor RYLA - Continuation of Savak Masani Elocution Competition - Rotract Clubs retention and formation of new and possible addition of new interact clubs.clubs. (E) It was resolved to continue with no increase in Internal Dues for first half. If required the matter can be brought to AGM. (F) It was resolved to increase INR 1000/- per member towards compulsory donation to Charity Trust and a 10 days notice be issued for the same. (G) PP Kailash Monga appraised the BOD regarding “Project of Scale Water Shed In Maharashtra” in Beed District (H) He shared about online meeting with International partners from Germany, Switzerland etc. the application process is under progress and PP Kailash requested BOD members to work on procurement of Letters of Intent (LoI) from CSR partners known to them. Rotary Clubs from Switzerland and Germany have already committed contribution of approximately $60,000. (I)Expenses on Plaque and Trophy presented to Army Cdr and PDG Sam Irani was approved and regularised. (J) Printing of office stationary and Banners with NEW LOGO was approved. Agenda Point 20 . Next BOD meeting scheduled for Friday 11 August 2023, 6:00pm at Manisha Terrace.
