| Minutes of Meeting | This was the DG Visit meeting. After Strategic planning meeting, all BOD members explained about their achievements & plans to DG. Then DG was welcomed with crown & Sache by First Lady Mugdha for the general meeting. Ishastavan was presented by Ann Pallavi Nerurkar. All the District Officers were welcomed. Then Secretary Asmita gave the Rotary Information and presented stupendous Secretarial Report. President Milind took review of Service Project/Youth/Vocational Service/Membership/Foundation avenues. AG Sachin presented his remarks on club performance, he was very happy about the club performance. DG Visit special Darpan was published. Chief Guest DG Manjoo was introduced by Rtn Varsha Hirwe through a nice poem. DG Manjoo then fluently explained purpose of Rotary, how the Rotary Foundation donation gets utilized for the projects, why should we daily wear the Rotary pin and appealed all for donation to Rotary Foundation. Vote of thanks was proposed by PE Sameer Prabhune. Our Rotaract club was present with maximum Rotaractors. All members enjoyed tasty fellowship by Rtn Padma & Dileep Pandit. Dress code for Ladies was White/close to white Saree & White/close to white Kurta for Gents. Starry theme was used for the decoration of the venue as per DG’s this year’s theme. |

| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting was called to order by President Girish at 7.30 PM followed by the National Anthem. Then, President Girish welcomed the guest, Mr. Umesh Zirpe. President Girish also welcomed the guests, Mr. Sunil Sawaikar, Mr. Umesh Gadikar, and Mr & Mrs Anirudhha Sane. Rtn Shamala Joshi introduced the guest Mr Umesh Zirpe. Mr Zirpe, in his talk, highlighted the importance of adventure sports especially mountaineering which is the mother of all sports. He also explained its benefits in day-to-day life. He described his experiences of rescue operations at various trekking activities. He presented a slide show of his successful expedition to Mount Everest. Ann Medha Sardeshmukh delivered the vote of thanks and President Girish felicitated Mr Zirpe. This was followed by the Rotary business. President Girish congratulated Rtn Hemant and Rtn Swati for the successful completion of the student’s visit to IISER under youth activity. There were announcements related to the global grants and project, overnight picnic, and donation to trust by Rtn Sanjay Bapat and Rtn Dileep Railkar. Secretary PP Rtn Sanjeev announced the program for the next week (as mentioned in the agenda). He also announced the birthdays of the members and anns (names mentioned in the agenda) and President Girish felicitated them. President Girish felicitated Rtn. Shmala and Dr. Binwalefor sponsoring the fellowships for project snacks and weekly meeting dinners respectively. The meeting was adjourned. |

Two young Ladies, Sahana Ray and Sarbani Ghosh showed us through their beautiful dance movements and supported by some wonderful Tagore’s songs, how important it is for all of us to realise the importance of relationships but ultimately it is the inner self which has to be happy and satisfied. Self-love is the best form of love. Self-love strengthens our mental health, our resilience, lowers our stress levels and enhances our mental strength. We become our own priority and start to take care of ourselves to live a healthy joyful life. We realize who we are and then love who we are. This would mean taking care of yourself to live a healthy joyful life, which will automatically be transcended to all our relationships. Our well-being and confidence continue to be dependent of Self-love in a society that frequently emphasizes the need for perfection.
